Hockey Coaching
Hockey coaching is delivered by Jamie Johnston. Jamie
is a former National League hockey player & an England Hockey level two coach. He has worked with elite junior players across the
Midlands
as a Regional Coach at U14 & U17 level. He has worked as a GK coach to National League clubs, universities and schools
, as well as running GK courses across the
Midlands
.
His outfield coaching includes
Aston
University

County
sides and several schools. His coaching has taken him throughout England and to the
USA and
Chile
.
Jamie runs courses to help coaches and teachers develop the skills to produce successful goalkeepers. The course covers basic techniques and progresses onto more complex areas like 1v1, sliding and how to break bad habits. All participants get resources to take away. The course costs £175 for up to 12 coaches.
Hockey Coaching is also available as season-long contracts to clubs or schools, as well as one-off coaching clinics.
In just six weeks Jamie turned our U15 fly-half into our first choice U15 keeper Michael Johnson (GB & Cannock), former head of hockey Rugby School.
