How do I choose the right service?
Each of our personal training services is designed with individual needs in mind.
If you’re not sure what the best option is for you, go through the following questions to help you decide. If you answer no, just move onto the next one.
(These questions and answers have been adapted especially for Covid-19 to help ensure recommendations are safe and appropriate. Please see our note on vulnerable groups immediately following these questions.)
1. Are you in a group considered vulnerable to COVID-19*?
If yes, our priority is to keep you safe; therefore we will recommend one-to-one online training. You’ll get personalised sessions over video calls, a safe exercise and healthy eating plan and regular support to keep you on track.
2. Do you have any specific physical needs, such as an injury or condition*?
3. Do you want complete support with eating well, building healthy habits and general motivation?
4. Do you enjoy a social setting and know of one or more local friends or households with whom you’d like to train together?
If so, paired or group training on location would work best for you. You will each get a one-to-one consultation to establish your individual needs followed by weekly group fitness sessions to get fit and feel great. Available for up to 5 households.
5. Do you love the idea of training with one or more friends who don’t live near you?
If yes, we recommend online paired or group training. You’ll get tailored support from the beginning, plus high-energy joint or group sessions that you can enjoy with friends (and chat about afterwards).
6. Do you have a specific question that hasn’t been answered?
No problems. Let us know your question via our contact form and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can, usually within 24 hours.
(*Please note, for those considered vulnerable or high risk to COVID-19, we currently recommend online training to ensure your safety. Certain conditions may require your trainer to have a specialist qualification. We may ask you to get advice from your GP before you start. Please contact us here and we’ll be happy to advise.)
What equipment will I need?
For on location services, your trainer will bring everything you need. This will include a selection of mobile equipment for fun, varied sessions. Check out our Home Equipment Guide for an idea of the what our trainers and clients like using together.
For online services, your trainer will use a combination of body-weight training, plus any items you may have lying around! Clients are often surprised how much you can do with very little – or no – equipment, and our trainers are experts at being creative.
If you are interested in buying some equipment to use in your sessions, a large amount of versatile and storage-friendly equipment is available online or in certain high street stores. Ask your trainer and they will be happy to make recommendations based on your goals and budget.
